The solo career of singer Luther Vandross took off during the 1980s. However, before he had gone solo, Vandross spent his early years at the Apollo Theater with several lifelong friends in a group called Listen My Brother.
They spread a message of joy and empowerment for other Harlem youth before several of the group went onto greater things within the music industry.

There’s currently three vinyl pressing plants in Australia. This wasn’t always the case, as during the 1990s when all of the major labels switched to CD there was only one.
